  2025 Schedule for Southern Tier Driving School
Classes are being held by zoom.This class will allow you to take the road test
Anyone 16 or older with a photo permit can take this course
The New York DMV requires the student must have either a current NY Photo Learner
Permit or a valid interim permit with a NYS Government-issued ID card (such as a
Non-Driver ID Card, Expired NY Photo Permit, and/or Expired NY Photo License)

Follow these steps
1. Register (anyone with a New York photo permit, age 16 and older, can take the class)
 2. To register and prepay click on the sign up/ pay box at the lower right corner of this page.
3. Send a copy of your NY photo permit to Stierdriving@gmail.com or text it to 607-425-8758
4. Have zoom downloaded (zoom.us) and make sure it is working including sound and video.
5. We will email you a meeting ID # and pass code, to enter the zoom meeting, the night before the class.
6. On the day of class go to zoom.us, click on join and enter the link we sent you. Open 1 hour early.
You must be free of distractions, not in a car or at work or involved in any activities.
7. You will be issued the certificate number upon completion of the course. The MV-278 certificate will be mailed.
8. If you would like the course on a date not listed, email stierdriving@gmail.com with a preferred
date with 2 weeks notice and we may be able to hold a class on that date for you.

You can get a replacement certificate for $10. You can pay on the website. Include name.

TO YOUR DRIVING INSTRUCTOR AND RECEIVE A DISCOUNT of:
 $10 for 3 or 4 lesson package
$20 for a 7 or 11 lesson package
(only one discount for the 5 hour class)

6 Hour National Safety Council Defensive Driving Class
This class does not qualify to take the road test
When: Saturday date to be scheduled, 2025, 9 am to 3:30 pm
What: Save up to 10% on your auto liability and collision insurance
             premiums and you can reduce your point total by up to 4 points.
